Do you travel for events and portrait sessions?

Of course! I am local to Holland MI but I travel all through-out Michigan. I get requests for beach locations a lot so it is convenient to live near the water. I have a list of favorite beaches if you need help with finding a beach location, I got you!
I also travel to clients homes, specific session locations requested and all across Michigan for general events.

What is the starting investment for portrait sessions?

Sometimes our booking fee varies a little bit but for most of our portrait sessions, a $199 retainer fee is required at booking to hold your session date and for events, a $299 retainer is due to hold the event date. The retainer fee does not include any prints or products. In some portrait session types, it covers booking your hair and makeup artist and in all cases, it covers your session time.

Typical client investments beyond that will vary greatly but you can expect an average of at least $350 - $900 per portrait session. General Event Photography can typically range from $600 - $2000

Do you have backup equipment in case of equipment failure?

We absolutely do! For larger events, it is typical to see myself or colleagues shooting with dual cameras. This has many benefits but one of those is also about file handing. For many of our events or sessions where both cameras are not needed, our spare is kept tucked away as a back up in the event of an emergency. If equipment failure were to happen, our goal is to quick switch out cameras with little to no disturbance of the capturing of the event.

Will we have download and print rights to our images?

I have specific information on this in my client contracts but the short answer is yes, all images that are PURCHASED by the client will be paired with a digital version that can be downloaded, shared and used for print. I am a full service studio so if desired I can have all your prints and artwork needs fulfilled with one of y amazing professional labs.
